On Jan 26, I plan to xc ski somewhere in Gatineau Park. If the snow is good, I plan to ski from P16 to Herridge cabin. Otherwise probably from P9 again to Keogan.
On Jan 27, I am hoping to skate from Dow's lake to downtown. Here is hoping for the canal to fully open. My kids will join me on the quest for a beaver tail.

Rideau canal is now fully open for skating. I plan to park at Carleton Univerisity ($2/day) and start from Dow's Lake at 11am. Hoping to do a round trip and have lunch afterwards. Not sure how to fit in the beaver tail. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteFor tomorrow's skiing, how about we start from P16 (pine road) and head for Healey or Herridge cabin? Haven't been there this year. Let me know if you're coming.
