It's rare to have mid-winter condition in December. We're certainly blessed this year. We went up to visit Western Cabin from P9 via Fortune Parkway and Champlain Lookout. It wasn't cold but blustery so it was greatly appreciated to have a cabin to have lunch at. Chatting with friends beside a warm fire is certainly something also greatly appreciated.
Note to self: bring a thermos of hot chocolate or tea next time.
